Where Giving Back Comes First
Aprende Ingles is individualized, virtual tutoring with the mission to teach Spanish-speaking adults how to speak English. Tutors will facilitate 1:1 classes with a student weekly by following the lessons provided throughout our 8-week program. Members of the Academia Task Force will develop strong curriculums that will be taught in lessons/activities used by English tutors.
The mission of the Social Media Committee is to produce and promote Internet-based materials and resources to better showcase the activities of NewColorsProject. Committee members will attend meetings, bring ideas and creative energy to the group, and implement strategies as assigned, including engaging with the organization on social media platforms, promoting the social media accounts of the organization, and inviting others to become involved.
The mission of the Newsletter Committee is to organize monthly newsletters filled with resources and updates from NewColorsProject to its members. A nonprofit newsletter is an effective way to communicate and engage with volunteers and potential donors. The objective of a nonprofit newsletter is to convert subscribers to nonprofit volunteers and update prospective donors with the latest information & news happening around your nonprofit.
The Outreach Committee is all about giving, contributing, and helping those who cannot help themselves. Community outreach also allows us to influence younger generations to give back to the community. It helps the community grow in a substantial way. Committee members are responsible for establishing relationships and partnerships with individuals within our target audience, organizations, and businesses.
Tutors United is designed to outreach to low-income and English Language Learner (ELL) K-12 students to provide them with resources to be successful inside and outside the classroom.
