"I am sincerely grateful for the Raymiro D. Gomez-Galiano Senior Portrait Scholarship I was awarded. I am truly honored and appreciative of the trust and support that you have all shown me by choosing me as the recipient of this scholarship. This scholarship has not helped me financially but has also boosted my confidence and motivated me to pursue my academic and career goals with even greater determination. Your generosity has not gone unnoticed, and I assure you that I will work hard to make the most of this opportunity. I am committed to using this scholarship to its fullest potential and achieving my goals. This scholarship has given me the encouragement and motivation to strive for excellence and make the most of my abilities. Once again, thank you for your kindness and generosity. Your support has made a wonderful difference. I hope that someday I look forward to helping others to achieve their goals."

"It is an honor to have been chosen as a recipient of the 2023 Raymiro D. Gomez-Galiano Senior Portrait Scholarship. I am a current Junior at Palmdale High School, class of 2024, and aspiring to be a member of the armed forces. Receiving this scholarship has relieved my family and me by having one less expense to worry about for my upcoming senior year, which I may not have had. Without your kind contribution, it would not be possible for me or my family to experience the amazing pictures taken by William Edwards in our own home. Once again thank you for making these dream pictures a reality. I would also like to thank the generosity of the community members who have contributed to the amazing cause that NewColorsProject has taken on. Hopefully one day I will have the opportunity to give back to the community as a high school history teacher."
